In the morning, from 3 to 8 am, on the road to Mt. Evergreen, people carrying water pots come and go without stop. This kind of scene can be seen every year. People worship the mouth of the spring piously. They use a gourd to carry water from the spring before 7am since before that the water is the most sweet and delicious. After getting water from the Fairy Spring, down the hill, the villagers wear happy smiles on their faces. Long ago, there is an ancient festival in Bama——Double Seven Water Worship Festival (also called Getting Water Festival), on July 7th of every year in the morning, thousands of people from all directions gathered at Fairy Spring Mt. Evergreen, Bama and to get water. They believe that the water got from that time at that place can live longer and escape disasters. At the same time, they can express their thanks and worship to water.
